Deborah is Creative Producer of Freedom Studios, who created the sell-out The Mill
Deborah Dickinson graduated in Drama and Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham and joined the BBC as an administrator in the film department. She worked her way up to become a researcher and production manager and worked on a range of programmes including Seven Ages and Ebony. Deborah then went freelance, making documentaries for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. She also set up her own production company, ‘Foxy Films’ which specialised in making documentaries about the First and Second World Wars. Deborah returned to her first love, theatre, when she joined Full Body and the Voice, a theatre company for adults with learning disabilities. She is Chair of Tutti Frutti Theatre Productions and was on the advisory board for Faulty Optic.
