Being active and energised isn’t just about ‘doing sport’ or ‘doing dance’ – it’s about getting off your sofa, onto your feet and just doing something!
In 2010 and 2011 Don’t Just Sit There used a little bit of creativity to mix arts together with sport and get Yorkshire on the move.
Working with young people from schools and colleges throughout the region, Northern Ballet, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Artforms Leeds, Open Minds Theatre Company and Lishi created a series of works leading up to performances at events and sports stadia across Yorkshire.
