UK based instrumentalists Florilegium join forces with the Arakaendar Bolivia Choir to perform music created when 17th century Jesuit missionaries to Bolivia encouraged the resident people to celebrate the Catholic liturgy through their own music, instruments and culture – blending and twisting European and South American musical styles into a distinctive and unique mash-up.
