imove is funded by Legacy Trust UK, Arts Council England and Yorkshire Forward.
Legacy Trust UK funds a wide range of cultural and sporting programmes across the UK which will create a legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. For us, imove is unique in its exploration of movement and incorporation of a wide range of art forms, sports and heritage and in its mission of transforming the relationship between people and their moving bodies. imove will bring exciting new projects to the people of Yorkshire and will play a vital role in creating a legacy from the 2012 Olympics.
Arts Council England works to get great art to everyone. By hosting and supporting imove, Arts Council England is helping to reach new audiences with superlative and surprising cultural experiences, to open up exciting new opportunities for artists to work in a different way and to harness the power of the London 2012 Olympics to drive forward new partnerships between culture, sports, physical activity and learning.
Yorkshire Forward has supported the development of the imove programme to enable continual growth, quality of innovation and collaboration in Yorkshire and Humber’s cultural businesses. These ingredients are essential in ensuring our cultural products are world class and bring significant benefits and profile for Yorkshire and Humber in the run up to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.
