Gabrielle has been working with the schoolchildren of Flamborough and Bempton to help them express what Wingbeats means to them.
Gabrielle Naptali is a Ceramic Artist and Art Educator working with community groups in a variety of hands on and visual media. After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in 1996, she returned to Scarborough to take up a studio at Crescent Arts. Her career to date has included lecturing, teaching, youth work and project management and she has held positions as Exhibitions Officer at Crescent Arts and Artist Coordinator for Connecting Youth Culture, developing over 100 youth arts artists for NYCC. In 2009 she returned to concentrating on her own ceramic work undertaking commissions for galleries, parks, homes and gardens but still freelances in community art education.
