Jenny Worton

Jenny Worton wrote the first ‘beat’ of Mapping the City.

Jenny is a writer and a dramaturge and has been the Artistic Associate at the Almeida Theatre since 2005.  Before that she worked for the Tricycle Theatre, the Bush Theatre, the National Theatre and Out of Joint and was also selector for the National Student Drama Festival between 2003 and 2008.  For the stage Jenny has adapted Ingmar Bergman’s Through a Glass Darkly and Takeshi Kitano’s Dolls. She wrote the text for the South Bank Show nominated I Am Falling and acted as dramaturge on Breathing Irregular, both of which were shown at the Gate Theatre.  Her original work for Radio 4 includes Demonstrating Grace and A Hallowed Space.
