Rachel created one of the installations for The Moving Body in the City
Rachel Goodyear completed BA (hons) Fine Art at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2000, since when she has been practicing art in Manchester. She has exhibited regularly in the UK and abroad and has been shortlisted for the Northern Art Prize. Cats, Cold, Hunger and the Hostility of Birds, is a book of her drawings published by Aye-Aye Books. Artist led activities have included guest co-curator for Thermo 03 and Thermo 04 for The Lowry Centre, Salford and from 2003 until 2005 she was a co-director of Floating IP gallery, Manchester.
