Taylor will be giving voice to Wingbeats.
Taylor Wilson studied singing at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama before reading modern languages at Strathclyde University. She went on to complete her opera studies at The Royal Northern College of Music, where she developed an interest in contemporary music and worked closely with the composer Judith Weir. Taylor has appeared regularly at the Edinburgh festival, both as a chanteuse in a specially-created one-woman show and as a recitalist of lieder and contemporary music, also written for her. Taylor has performed as a mezzo-soprano in the major opera houses of both Austria and Germany and will be bringing her talents to the East Coast of Yorkshire for Wingbeats.
