Teachers’ Resources
We want children and young people in Yorkshire to help us celebrate our events and to join in and to think about movement. So, with the help of education specialists, teachers and primary schools, we’ve created some special assembly plans just for primary schools. We’d love you to use them as part of your school’s regular assembly.
As an added incentive, by using the imove assemblies in your school, you are qualified to register for ‘Get Set’, the official education network for the London 2012 Games. Schools who are registered for Get Set get exclusive access to a great range of benefits including visits to the school from athletes, unique competitions and prizes, and the opportunity to be involved with the Torch Relay. You can learn more about Get Set here.
As you’ll see on our website, there are lots of imove projects. Some of these projects have touring elements that we could bring to your school. If you’d like to be visited by imove then drop us a line on schools@imoveand.com. If you’d like to share your photographs or videos of students taking part in the assemblies we’d love to see them! You can send them to schools@imoveand.com.
We hope that you and your students enjoy your imove assemblies!
